Special Assistant to the President & CEO

202-296-9200

Kaitlynn is a 2021 graduate from Colorado State University where she majored in International Studies with a concentration in Asian Studies and triple minored in Business Administration, Political Science, and Chinese.

During her years at CSU, Kaitlynn discovered a passion and love for DEI initiatives and began to grow in her advocacy for the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community through consistent service and work with the Asian Pacific American Cultural Center. She also served on the executive board of various diverse organizations on campus where she was able to gain a broader perspective on systemic issues and institutions that affect multiple communities.

In addition to her advocacy for AA & NH/PI and DEI-focused work, she continued to further her passion for research in both the domestic and international spheres where she conducted studies on diverse candidates in the United States political process and completed a comprehensive thesis regarding international demographics and population studies.

Prior to working at APAICS, Kaitlynn worked in management at Target where she gained invaluable leadership, administrative, and professional development skills that she hopes to bring into her role as Special Assistant.
