Regional Leadership Academy
The Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) is a two-day leadership training event for current elected officials, individuals seeking to run for public office, and community stakeholders. APAICS partners with local organizations to deliver programming that consists of interactive political training with topics ranging from developing your campaign plan, communications, digital organizing, power mapping, volunteer recruitment and management, and fundraising.
Regional Leadership Academy trainings generally take place on Fridays from 8:00am-7:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:30am-4:30pm.
Cost of Attendance
There is a fee of $100 to attend the academy. Upon acceptance, program participants will be asked to pay this amount. The fee covers the entire training for both days. If you are unable to pay the $100, scholarship options are available.
Important Note on In-Person Events
All upcoming RLAs are still planned to be in-person events. Attendees will be required to take the necessary precautions including but not limited to: submitting proof of COVID vaccination status, signing a COVID-19 waiver form, and wearing a mask for the entirety of the event.
