APAICS Statement on the Build Back Better Framework
WASHINGTON— Late last week, the White House announced the Build Back Better framework which constitutes a historic investment in human capital, public education, clean energy, home care and more.
The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) president and CEO, Madalene Xuan-Trang Mielke released the following statement:
“APAICS applauds the White House and members of Congress on their efforts to reach a consensus on the Build Back Better framework which would significantly benefit Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities that are struggling, especially in the devastating wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Build Back Better framework will invest in our families and communities, and deliver on many promises that our community voted for.”
