​​Christopher Zhen comes to Capitol Hill from PLUS Communications, where he worked in public affairs\ providing support to a variety of corporate and trade association client accounts. Prior to that, he interned for FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications practice in Houston, Texas, and held a variety of internships in Washington DC for the lobbying firms Squire Patton Boggs and K&L Gates, the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE).

Christopher grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from New York University in 2020 with a degree in Politics. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling (including many visits to family in China), learning how to cook his mother’s Chinese recipes and fishing on the lake.
