Ishaan Kaushal

Ishaan is a 2023 graduate from Boston College where he majored in Criminal and Social Justice with a double minor in Theology and Business. 


Ishaan's passion for helping the Asian American community began in highschool but grew at Boston College, where he was deeply involved with the Asian culture clubs, DEI based organizations, and Student Affairs missions. Ishaan was a recipient of the Benigno and Corazon Aquino Scholarship, a scholarship at Boston College awarded to a junior who shows a commitment to the Asian community both on and off campus. 


Prior to APAICS, Ishaan worked in the intersections of law and business, such as legal and OSHA compliance work at Vitaliti, Barker Epstein & Loscocco: Immigration Law Firm and business experience at Sukhmani Transport. Politically, Ishaan has interned on the Michelle Wu mayoral campaign, a council member for the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and volunteer at Saheli, a South Asian domestic violence shelter.  


At APAICS, Ishaan is committed to helping his community by working to make sure all voices in the  Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander are heard and represented in all forms of politics, along with striving to create a strong sense of community.
