ABOUT THE MUNICIPAL & STATE LEGISLATIVE REGIONAL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY The APAICS Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) is a two-day leadership training event for community stakeholders, individuals seeking to run for public office, current elected officials, and those with an interest in policymaking or social justice. The Municipal & State Legislative RLA will focus on individuals interested in pursuing elected positions at the municipal and state-level. Programming will be tailored for participants looking to run at these levels.
The academy will take place on Friday, March 5 (2:00-5:30 PM EST) & Saturday, March 6 (12:00-3:30 PM EST).

3:55 - 4:05 Break
4:05 - 5:05 Training: Campaign Math
5:05 - 5:30 Virtual Networking
Day 2 – Saturday 12:00-3:30 PM
12:00 - 1:00 Training: Relational Organizing
1:00 - 1:10 Break
1:10 - 2:10 Training: Digital & Online Communications
2:10 - 2:20 Break
2:20 - 3:30 Training: Fundraising
COST OF ATTENDANCE
There is a small fee of $25 to attend the academy. Upon acceptance, program participants will be asked to pay this amount. The fee covers the entire training for both days. If you are unable to pay the $25, scholarship options are available
