Strengthening the Healthcare Workforce
Plenary Session
Amid growing national shortages, the health workforce pipeline continues to pose challenges for culturally competent and linguistically responsive care. This panel examines how provider shortages strain patients and clinicians alike, fueling burnout, while underscoring the need to address barriers to entering and staying in health professions. Panelists will also explore how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping care delivery and workforce roles, alongside policy and systems-level strategies to address mental health pressures and build a sustainable, culturally responsive workforce for the future.
