Before joining APAICS, Nicholas worked with the Policy Resolution Group, supporting the firm’s congressional advocacy efforts. His work focused on environmental, economic, and infrastructure policy. In addition to aiding the firm's legislative efforts, he also assisted with the public communications campaigns for clean energy and plastic recycling projects.

Nicholas also recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego (BA ‘20), where he studied political science and international relations. His coursework focused on foreign policy and human rights in the Pacific Crest. As a student, Nicholas wrote for his university’s undergraduate journal on international affairs, covering major international events.

During the 2020 federal elections, he worked as a research assistant for the United States Immigration Policy Center, where he supported the Center’s voter outreach and immigration reform work. His experience in providing voter assistance to immigrant and low-propensity voters served as the foundation for his devotion to AAPI representation in politics and government.
