Jim Nam currently serves as Director for PepsiCo’s State Government Affairs North America team. Prior to joining PepsiCo, he was a project manager for Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Federal Government Services practice, where Jim led operational re-engineering efforts at the U.S. Department of the Navy for the Chief of Naval Personnel. Prior to joining Deloitte, Jim served in the Obama Administration from 2009 – 2016 for the Department of Defense (DoD) at the Pentagon in various roles.
Jim joined the Obama for America Campaign in March 2007 and was part of the historic Iowa Caucus victory, he worked for Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski in 2006, and for Senator John Kerry’s Presidential campaign in 2004. Mr. Nam earned a bachelor of science in Political Science from the University of Oregon; and is nearing completion of his graduate degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. In his free time Jim is an avid fan of the Oregon Ducks and enjoys trying new restaurants.
