Racial Equity Social Justice Fellow
House Committee on Financial Services
Eric is a native of California who is new to public service work. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine with Bachelors of Arts in both Art History and Asian American Studies and a minor in History, Eric moved to the District of Columbia to attend the Catholic University of America School of Law. While attending CUA Law, he completed internships in various general counsel’s offices in both the private and non-profit sectors including the Office of General Counsel for the Catholic University of America and the Office of General Counsel for the Humane Society of the United States. Eric graduated from CUA Law with two certificates from both the Law and Technology Institute and the Compliance, Investigations, and Corporate Responsibility Program.
Commitment to service has always been a part of Eric’s life whether it was participating in community service through the national community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega or giving instructions to lost tourists on the Yellow/Green Line. Eric is extremely grateful to be able to participate in the APAICS Racial Equity Fellowship Program as it is a great opportunity to actively draw upon and combine both his Asian American Studies degree and law school education. Although he doesn’t know what the future holds, he hopes to stay working in the policy field, and he hopes to continue serving his community.
