Founding The IAMBIC Group was more than establishing a business for David. Through his pioneering work in multicultural marketing and outreach beginning at Anheuser-Busch Companies, he has developed and implemented signature marketing and sales campaigns that continue to influence how companies and nonprofit organizations build their strategic plans to reach and capture share and profit in diverse markets in the U.S. and Asia.

His appointment at the Treasury Department to serve as the Chief of Staff of the United States Mint gave him the opportunity to manage public affairs, government relations, and international affairs. During his tenure, he led an agency-wide team that created the first brand platform for the Mint since the agency’s inception in 1792. The campaign received the prestigious 2011 REBRAND 100 Global Award.

An alumnus of The Raben Group and AARP, he has completed the trifecta – corporate, government, nonprofit. He started the Asian marketing program at AARP, where in six months, he launched the first ever Asian advertising campaign and increased the number of lifetime memberships among Asians that was higher than all other multicultural groups combined.

David is active on several boards including the: Duke University Library Advisory Board, National Osteoporosis Foundation, Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies, National Asian Pacific Center on Aging and OASIS Institute. Follow David on Twitter at @TheIAMBICGroup
