Casey Lee

Congressman Ted Lieu

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Casey gained an interest in politics during her studies at UCLA, where she specialized in international relations. In response to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, she dug deep into public service and advocacy for her community, starting with internships with Congressman Ted Lieu and NextGen America. She subsequently worked in the national political departments for a Democratic primary presidential campaign and a climate-focused PAC.

Most recently, Casey was a project manager for the We Are Home campaign, a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-generational coalition calling on the Biden administration and Congress to take immediate action to protect millions of immigrants who call this country home and end the cruelty of our interior detention and deportation system. In her spare time, she volunteers as a board member for Inclusive Lafayette, a grassroots affordable housing group in her hometown, and the field committee lead for Amplify Asian America, an Asian American youth civic engagement organization.
