Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ken Lam helps develop and implement strategic direction for approximately 2,500 State Farm Insurance employees in the Heartland Zone. As Operations Vice President he is responsible for the underwriting and claims force who service the nearly 3 million automobile and 1 million home policies insured throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. In his 28 years with State Farm, he has served in a variety of roles including commercial fire underwriter in Bloomington, IL, commercial fire superintendent in Newark, OH, executive assistant to the Chairman’s council at corporate headquarters, Vice President Operations in Tempe, AZ, and Vice President Administrative Services. Ken is a member of the Board of Directors for Local Initiatives Support Corporation and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. He and his wife have two children.
