Biography
David Lin currently holds the position of Executive Director, External Affairs at AT&T in Bedminster, New Jersey. In this capacity, he is responsible for building and managing AT&T relationships with a number of Asian American community-based groups, rural groups and institutions focusing on providing telemedicine services.
During his career at AT&T, David has held leadership positions across a variety of disciplines including Consumer Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Finance, Systems Development and Data Center Operations.
David has been involved with the Asian American employee resource group at AT&T – APCA, for over 19 years. He currently serves as the APCA National President with the responsibility of setting strategic direction and overseeing the operation of twelve APCA chapters around the country.
David is also very active with a number of Asian American community organizations. In addition to serving as Treasurer for APAICS, he is also the Vice Chair of the OCA Business Advisory Council and Vice President of Membership for the Japanese American Citizens League. He also serves on the advisory councils of the Asian Business Association of Los Angeles and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center.
David was a School Board Member at the Hillsborough Township in New Jersey from 2006 to 2009 and he also served as the Vice President of the Board in 2007-2009. He is currently a Trustee of the Hillsborough Education Foundation and a Member of the Hillsborough Public Library Advisory Board.
David received a Masters of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, all from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is also a graduate of the Program for Management Development Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
