Moh Sharma

Biography

Moh has previously interned and/or worked at the Connecticut Center
for Economic Analysis, the Connecticut Economic Resource Center,
Lawyers Without Borders, the Office of the UNESCO Chair and Institute
of Comparative Human Rights at UCONN, the United Nation’s Office of
the Special Representative to the Secretary General in Children and
Armed Conflict, the Institute for Global Policy, the International
Center for Transitional Justice, the Center for Constitutional Rights,
Urban Justice Center Human Rights Project, Vera Institute for Justice,
South Asian Youth Action, the Connecticut Technology Council and the
Connecticut Judicial Branch.

Moh received her B.A. (Hons.) and her M.A. in Economics from the
University of Connecticut, her M.S. in Global Affairs from NYU, and
her J.D. from CUNY School of Law.  She is currently on the organizing
committee of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Democratic Caucus,
the University of CT Asian American Alumni Association and is the VP
for the CT National Association for Asian American Professionals.

Washington, DC—On Tuesday, five new Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) leaders were elected to serve in the 113th United States Congress, with one race too close to call.
