Anna Chu

Bio
Anna Chu is the 2009-2010 Walmart/George R. Ariyoshi APAICS Fellow fellow placed with the House Democratic Caucus. Her responsibilities include staffing the Congressional Task Force on Competitiveness, leading an outreach program to district offices, and handling issues such as census, health care, and small business.
Anna currently serves as a Membership Co-Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Staff Association and as a board member of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum-DC Chapter. Prior to her fellowship with APAICS, Anna handled employment class actions as an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, took on immigration pro bono work for Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, and served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Jane A. Restani of the U.S. Court of International Trade.
Anna received her B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her law degree from the University of Southern California. Anna is a native of San Francisco, California.
