Join APAICS for our 19th Annual Gala Awards Dinner on Wednesday, May 8th as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Pioneers at our 19th Annual Gala Awards Dinner. In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month the 2013 Gala Awards Dinner will be the “must attend” event of the year and our awardees and speakers will exemplify the best that our community and nation has to offer.  Attended by nearly 1000 people last year, the Gala Awards Dinner was keynoted by President Barack Obama. Senator Mazie K. Hirono (D-Hawaii) will receive the first-ever APAICS Pioneer Award. Immigration activist Jose Antonio Vargas and Dr. Ho Luong Tran, President and CEO of the National Council of Asian and Pacific Islander Physicians, will receive the APAICS Community Leadership Award. State Farm will be honored with the APAICS Corporate Achievement Award. We will also pay tribute to the life of Senator Daniel K. Inouye.
