Biography
Vinh Cam was elected in November 2001 to be the Representative Town Meeting in District 10 in Greenwich, Connecticut. She became the first minority member among the 22 members of her district. Ms. Cam served on the Budget Overview Committee and Health and Human Services Committee that overseas the Bioterrorism Task Force. As a Founder of the Council of Asian Americans in Government and the Coalition of Vietnamese Americans, Ms. Cam's goal is to strengthen the leadership of Asian Americans and increase political awareness among the Asian American community.
