Biography
Mark Villegas is currently a PhD student in the Culture and Theory Program at UC Irvine. Mark graduated from the MA program in Asian American Studies at UCLA and taught several classes at California State University, Long Beach and Fullerton. Mark also does documentary filmmaking on Filipino and Filipino American arts and performance. His blog, Hip Hop Lives: Traditions of Filipino Performance, which is a venue for cultural and artistic criticism, has been going on strong for almost five years.
Kimberly was a 2004 APAICS Summer Intern and was placed at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
