Biography

Kimberly Chin was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in College Station, Texas. She was a member of the APAICS internship class of 2004 and was placed in the Office of Congressman Mike Honda.

Kimberly received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Wellesley College in 2005. At Wellesley, Kimberly served on the College Government Cabinet as Chair of the Committee for Political and Legislative Action, where she oversaw all political programming on campus during the 2004 Presidential election.

In 2010, Kimberly received her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. During law school, she was Managing Editor of the Boston College Third World Law Journal, a member of the Law Students Association Executive Board, and President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She also served as a judicial extern to then-Federal Magistrate Judge Edward M. Chen and was a summer associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.

She currently works as a litigation associate at Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe in Oakland, California. She is a member of the Asian America Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and volunteers with the Asian Law Caucus.

Kimberly was a 2004 APAICS Summer Intern and was placed in the office of Rep. Mike Honda.
