Biography
David J. Della founded Eco-Ready, LLC, a business consulting firm which assists small and mid-sized businesses obtain information and resources necessary to move toward environmental sustainability. He brings his vast experience and contacts in business and government into his consulting practice.
Prior to starting Eco-Ready, LLC in January 2008, Mr. Della was a member of the Seattle City Council from 2004-2007. On the Seattle City Council, he chaired the Parks, Neighborhoods, and Education Committee, was vice-chair of the Energy, Environmental, and Technology committee and member of the Finance Budget committee. He also served as Vice-President of the Economic Development District with the Puget Sound Regional Council which is responsible for developing and implementing the Regional Prosperity Partnership Initiative since 2004 and board member of Enterprise Seattle, formerly the Seattle-KC Economic Development Council. Finally, he served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Washington Cities representing the City of Seattle as well as active with the National League of Cities.
Mr. Della's community and government service spans over 20 years including serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Seattle Mayor Norman Rice, Executive Director of the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs under Governors Mike Lowry and Gary Locke, and Director of Community Affairs and Public Policy for the United Way of King County.
Mr. Della is married to Seattle Attorney, Odette Polintan, and they have two daughters, Jade and Silahis. They live in Queen Anne with their dog, Oreo.
